NOTICE

Effective January 1, 2025 I will no longer accept new counselees.

My office will close permanently on March 21, 2025.

Things go wrong sometimes. Things get complicated in relationships. We will work together to help you understand your situation and give you options that will get you back on firm footing. We will do this by filtering everything we talk about through a biblical lens. I believe that any problem can be solved by considering the principles given to us by God. Life is not always easy, but solving the thorny issues doesn't have to be complicated.

Life in general can be stressful for us all, so if everything going on in the world today is compounding the weight of whatever it is that has brought you to this place of mental instability, do yourself and those closest to you a favor and start resolving those issues today. I offer a safe, comfortable environment and a perspective, based on trustworthy biblical principles, that you may not have considered. Let's talk about it.

The frequent attempt to conceal mental pain increases the burden.

About

In my first career, as a professional firefighter/paramedic, I learned a lot about crisis situations. I was involved in a critical incident stress management program for many years which gave me extensive experience working with firefighters, police officers, and other first responders. At the end of my 29-year public safety career I attained a master’s degree in counseling and have been practicing—practicing—counseling since then.

In counseling others I draw extensively on my own experience: as a husband, father, and Maker of Big Mistakes. You and I will be encouraged together as we seek a lasting peace and real, sustainable solutions to real problems.

Take Action

Unless your problem is one that will eventually resolve itself, a first step will be required of you. Once you make contact and begin the process you will no longer be trying to solve your issues alone.

Contact me now at rlncounsel@gmail.com or call/text (940) 284-2630 to start the journey. I look forward to talking with you.

My office is at 723 S. I35E, Suite 205, Denton, Texas, 76205 (inside Denton Square Business Center).

I offer appointments from a reasonably early morning hour until a reasonably late evening hour on most weekdays.
